Parfumerie Fragonard
Parfumerie Fragonard was named for a famous 18th century French painter, and is one of the best-known perfume factories in the region. Tours are guided in English, and visitors are shown how the 'soul of the flower' is extracted. The perfumerie also houses a museum, and here vases and bottles dating from ancient times are displayed.
Parfumerie Molinard
Parfumerie Molinard is well known, as many fragrances created here are destined for American stores like Saks, Nieman Marcus, and Bloomingdales. The factory tour shows how the essence of the flower is extracted, as well as how flowers are converted into essential oils. Antique perfume bottles by Lalique and Baccarat are also displayed here.
